Who receives funding?
Special Education & Adaptive Classes in Schools
A significant portion of the funds will be dedicated to enhancing special education classes, adapted programs (ie: PE, Art, Music, etc.), and inclusive clubs in the public school setting. This support ensures that students with disabilities receive the tailored education and equipment they need to thrive.
Transition to the Workforce
Another essential focus is aiding the transition period from school to the workforce. These funds will provide valuable resources, training, and opportunities for individuals with disabilities as they embark on their journey towards independence and meaningful employment.
Assistance for Individual Families
We are committed to making a direct impact on the lives of families in need. Funds will be used to help these families acquire necessary equipment, access therapies, and improve their overall living situations. This support will ease the financial burden families face when caring for loved ones with disabilities.
Recreational Opportunities
We recognize the importance of how sports and recreational activities can foster physical and emotional well-being. A portion of donated funds will be devoted to creating various recreational opportunities. These opportunities empower people with disabilities to participate in sports, build confidence, and form connections with others in their communities.
